Mama had the day off from work on Friday so she took Chase to school. Mama and Nanaw had planned to visit cousin Lindsey at the hospital on Friday but didn't because she went home early on Friday evening. Mama went to have lunch with Auntie LaLa and then visited with her at her house in the afternoon. Nanaw picked Chase up from school. On their way home, they stopped at Chase's house to pick up Tee Tee and some of Chase's stuffed "amamals." Then they went to the library. Chase selected a library book all on his own -- one of the "I Spy" books. He used his own library card, typed in the pin number and printed out his receipt -- such a grown-up boy. Nanaw went out to dinner with Mama, Daddy and Chase at Bully's, one of Nanaw's very favorite places. Nanaw had barbecued ribs, and Chase had chicken tenders.
