Introducing the mystery of the missing water bottle. Chase wasn't carrying his water bottle when Nanaw picked him up from school on Tuesday. So Nanaw assumed he'd left it in his classroom. But on Wednesday morning, Nanaw looked around the classroom for the water bottle but couldn't find it. Then, after school on Wednesday, when Nanaw was getting Chase's papers out of his backpack, she felt something wet. Inside the side pocket of the backpack, she found the water bottle -- so mystery solved. Nanaw volunteered in Chase's class on Wednesday, and had about 12 boys and girls reading to her. There were three books about birds, ducks, eggs, and beavers. The boys and girls did really well with their reading, and Nanaw had a wonderful time listening to them. She likes the class very, very much. In the evening, Chase had baseball practice, even though it was very cold outside. Nanaw didn't know whether she was going out in the cold to watch practice but then decided she would go, at least for a little while. It was cold, but Chase did really well with his hitting. Daddy said he did the best of all.
