Chase brought a wonderful assortment of his "amamals" to Nanaw's house on Monday morning: Tee Tee of course, Creeper, Chase Box Turtle, Big Jack and Little Jack, two back-ups, and Yadi Dog. Nanaw loves that Chase loves his stuffed "amamals." Monday was spring picture day, and Chase wore a short-sleeved button shirt from Grandma Pat for the picture -- he looked very cute, and he told Nanaw that he smiled for the picture. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to the library. Chase selected and checked out three more Dr. Seuss books -- it was very cute. Then he chose Lifesavers from the "bending" machine. When they got back to Nanaw's house, they went downstairs to the "school room" -- the extra bedroom -- to play school. They took the Dr. Seuss books and all the "amamals." Chase had the "amamals" vote on the options (his word) of what book to read. He said they all voted for One Fish Two Fish. (Later, Mama asked Chase how he knew how they voted, but Chase didn't answer.) When Nanaw took Chase home, Mama had an exciting video to show Chase. Mrs. Herrmann had posted a video on Seesaw of the eggs in the incubator. One of the eggs has a crack in it, and it's moving around and chirping / cheeping noises are coming from it. So very exciting that the chicks in the incubator in Chase's classroom are hatching. Yay!!!
