Daddy took Chase to school on Thursday morning for a special mass and then a visit to the new school under construction. The students signed a beam that is going to be part of the new building. Daddy took a picture of Chase's signature and sent it to Mama, who sent it to Nanaw. Nanaw picked Chase up from school, and they went to the library. First, they stopped at the cemetery, and cousin Lindsey and Erik were there visiting Pawpaw. Later, Lindsey went to urgent care for an abdominal pain. They sent her to the emergency room, where they discovered that she needed to have her appendix out on Friday morning. In the evening, Mama had an opening day party for the Cardinals -- Uncle Mike and Nanaw were the guests. They had hot dogs and Italian sausage and two kinds of Mama's fancy dip -- White Castle and chicken. Mama bought a Cardinals chocolate chip cookie at Schnucks. Part of the time, Chase played hockey with Daddy and part of the time he played with his tablet. Some of the pictures below are of Chase at school from the Seesaw app.
