Happy Easter, Sunday, April 1, 2018

Chase wore his Christmas holiday clothes to go to church on Easter Sunday. He looked very handsome. Fortunately, Mama took pictures of Chase and posted them on Facebook because Nanaw forgot to take any pictures -- bad Nanaw. Chase had an Easter egg hunt at home on Easter Sunday morning, in addition to the one he had at Aunt Becca's on Saturday. He and Mama went to Walmart in the afternoon, and Chase selected a purple chick and another little purple stuffed animal for Nanaw's Easter basket -- very cute. Chase, Mama and Daddy came over to Nanaw's for Easter dinner with Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky, Kristie, Joe, and Nichole. Nanaw gave Chase a classic set of Legos as his Easter present. He had an Easter egg hunt, looking for 20 plastic eggs that Nanaw filled with candy. She put some in drawers, a first for her. There were lots of desserts for dinner, plus a bunny rabbit cake Nanaw bought at her church bake sale -- for $40.
