When Chase got to Nanaw's house on Tuesday morning, he asked her to get the Dr. Seuss library books from downstairs so he could look at them. He really likes the Dr. Seuss books. When Nanaw took Chase to school, she wanted to look at the eggs in the incubator but it was surrounded by boys and girls, and Mrs. Herrmann made them take their seats. So Nanaw did not think she should look at the incubator. Mama told Nanaw to look at Seesaw because Mrs. Herrmann announced that the first chick hatched. It was so wonderful, and the boys and girls were so excited. Chase was so excited to tell Nanaw about the chick when she picked him up from school. On the way home, they went to the Grant's View library. Chase crawled in and out of the tunnels, and then Chase and Nanaw went into the story time room. There were crayons and paper there and puppets and a theater. Plus, there was a little girl named Amelia there. She was very vocal and social and outspoken, and Chase had a wonderful time playing with her. He didn't want to leave when it was time to go. He had Nanaw check out the Spanish version of The Cat in the Hat -- sill boy. When Chase and Nanaw got home, Chase discovered a bunch of Dr. Seuss books in his bookcase and was very excited about them. The last picture below is by Chase's special request: He asked his Mama to take a picture of him and Tee Tee and send it to Nanaw. Nanaw really loves that little boy.
