Chase had two adventures on Saturday: Andrew's birthday party at the Webster Groves ice skating rink. Mama said the party was a lot of fun, Chase had a good time, and there were a lot of kids there. She also said Andrew has gotten a lot taller from the last time she saw him. Nanaw and Chase found out yesterday from Mama that Chase's friend Brady has a broken collarbone. He was playing cops and robbers with some classmates, and one of them was chasing him. Brady stopped suddenly and the classmate didn't and ran into Brady, knocking him down and breaking his collarbone. Then at 5:30 Chase had a soccer game, and Nanaw went along to watch. It was a very exciting game, with lots of action. Chase did a good job of keeping up with the ball. The two teams tied, 7 to 7. When Nanaw got back to Chase's house, she went downstairs to see the new sump pump they had installed. It's by the washer and dryer, and it's sort of in the way when Mama wants to get something out of the dryer.
