When Nanaw took Chase to school on Tuesday morning, the parking lot was full, and Nanaw wondered why. Then she remembered that they were having Thanksgiving Mass. In Chase's classroom, the computer teacher was there. Mrs. Meyer was already at Mass, and Mr. Gilbreth was taking the boys and girls whose parents and grandparents weren't going to Mass. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, it had gotten rainy and windy. Both Chase and Nanaw thought it was really yucky. On the way home, they went to the Telegraph Road library so Nanaw could pick up a book for Mama and the movie, The Secret Life of Pets 2. Nanaw had accidentally requested the BluRay version of the movie instead of the regular DVD version. So she also put the DVD version on request. At Nanaw's house, Chase and Nanaw did one of the pages o his November morning work, for tomorrow, November 27. Chase said they could do the page for Thursday when he was at Nanaw's house for Thanksgiving dinner. When Nanaw took Chase home, Mama was making dough for turkey cookies. Chase wanted Mama to save one for Nanaw and Mama said she would. Chase wanted Nanaw to come back over later in the evening for a cookie but Mama and Nanaw talked him out of that idea. When Daddy got home from work, he took Chase for a haircut, and Mama sent a picture of Chase with his new haircut to Nanaw.
