Chase and Mama had quite the adventurous day on Sunday. Daddy played golf with his usual group so Mama and Chase went on an adventure with Aunt Becca. They went out to Troy and then got together with Aunt Becca's friend Edie and her daughter Noelle. They met Aunt Kristen who gave them Elias, and then they all went to Creve Coeur State Park. (Nanaw used to camp there when she was in Girl Scouts. Also, it's close to Old Monroe, where her dad grew up.) Mallory came along also. Aunt Becca made a scavenger hunt for them to do. They looked for ants, pine cones, squirrels and bunny rabbits among other things. Mama said they all had a good time and so did she. Mama said it was good to get out and do things. When Nanaw went to the cenetery, she was so excited to see a baby deer curled up by Pawpaw's headstone. She wasn't able to get a picture but she followed the baby deer and go a picture of him elsewhere. His mother was nowhere in sight, and Nanaw was worried about him. Hopefully, his mother showed up soon. In the evening, Nanaw came over to visit. Chase took her along with him on a scooter ride in his neighborhood. This was the first time Nanaw had seen Chase ride his scooter. Tee Tee came along also. Chase is an excellent scooter rider. Nanaw was very impressed with Chase's scooter riding skills. Chase helped Mama made pizza biscuit bites. Nanaw called him Mama's sous chef.
