Chase and Nanaw had a mixed-up day on Wednesday. Mama came to pick him up a little after nine to take him to the orthodontist. Because of the coronavirus, Mama couldn't go into the office with Chase. He didn't like having to go in by himself very much. Uncle Mike came over to work on creating a drain in Nanaw's front yard and to cut the grass. The last picture below is the trench Uncle Mike dug for the drain. So they managed to get all the school work done but had to spread it throughout the day. Chase fussed a bit because he thought he wasn't getting enough computer time. Nanaw fixed spaghetti and breadsticks for lunch. Chase was very interested in Nanaw making the spaghetti, and Nanaw had him sprinkle the basil into the sauce. He liked doing that. Chase ate two plates of spaghetti and two breadsticks; he ate too fast, and later got sick to his stomach. Nanaw should have limited him to one plate of spaghetti and one bread stick. Chase and Nanaw played in his sandbox in the front yard for awhile, for the first time in a couple of years. It was fun. Chase also played with the slime. The school work eventually went well. Chase and Nanaw especially like doing the pages that require logic to figure out the correct answers. Chase gets better at those pages every day.
