On Wednesday morning, on the way to Nanaw's house, Chase and Nanaw first went to the post office and to the night depository of the bank and then to the cemetery. Chase, of course, was playing with Nanaw's phone. For school, they did reading (once again about astronauts and what liftoff means), subtraction flash card, subtraction problems, addition flash cards, a new thing where Chase will write a subtraction problem six times -- this is to try to help him memorize subtraction facts. He also did handwriting practice. Tomorrow is cleaning lady time and school will last longer so may he'll be able to do some morning work pages, etc. In the afternoon, Mama picked Chase up for his dentist appointment. Mama says he was wound up at the appointment and cracked up Theresa, the dental hygienist that we all love. In the evening, Chase had an informal baseball practice at the big park with a few other boys. Daddy said Chase seemed to have fun. This was his first baseball practice since March, and the first time he's seen any of his friends since March.
