Chase did his AR reading Friday morning in the Where Is Stonehenge? and Nanaw logged his time in the library's summer reading program. School in the afternoon was fun, and Chase did very well. School included division flashcards, practicing eight state capitals, long division and multiplication problems, area problems in math, reading comprehension worksheets and Spanish. After they finished the regular school assignments, Chase did some educational games on ABCYA. Mama came over a little after four to take Nanaw and Chase to Dobb's to pick up Nanaw's car. Chase went to Walmart grocery shopping with Nanaw because Mama was having dinner with Hunter and Brady's moms at Washy's. Chase was perfect at Walmart -- it's so much fun shopping with him. Nanaw bought several things for him: a stuffed Amung Us animal, canned pears, Juicy Bursts fruit snacks, two oranges and caramel M&Ms. Chase helped Nanaw do the self-checkout, which was fun. He's such a special boy. After Walmart, they went to Schnuck's and then Nanaw took Chase home -- Daddy was home from work by then.
