Chase and Nanaw went on a bunch of errands on Friday morning. Chase gave Nanaw a bit of attitude about going on errands but then was fine when she promised to buy him a toy and candy at Walmart. First they went to the health food store near the Magic House. Next, they stopped for gas, then went to the library to pick up a movie for Nanaw. Chase checked out a Stonehenge book and a Nate book. Chase got some fruit treats from the vending machine; he did it all by himself. Nanaw got her refund from a couple of weeks ago when the vending machine didn't give her what she put money in for. Then they went to Telegraph Road Walmart. At Walmart, Nanaw bought a bunch of stuff for Chase: two miniature cars, caramel fudge-striped cookies, Lay's potato chips, Sour Patch candy, and sliced baby Swiss cheese. He also got a Granny Smith apple and a Honey Crisp apple. Nanaw taught him how to ring up the apples at the self-checkout. School went very well; Nanaw is having so much fun with it. Nanaw logged Chase's reading in the library's summer reading program. In the evening, Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw went to the Waterloo show to see Bad Guys. At first, Chase said he didn't want to go but then changed his mind when he thought about movie popcorn. The movie was great and so was the popcorn. Chase rated the movie 10 out 10 so the evening was a success. On Tuesday evenings, the show has movies for $5.00. On Tuesday morning, movies are $4.50. So Nanaw has plans to take Chase to the movies lots this summer.
