Chase brought his own tablet with him on Thursday, and that was all he wanted to do. In the morning, Chase and Nanaw both did their 30 minutes of reading on the bed in the computer lab. Nanaw had a bit of trouble getting him to start school but eventually, it all worked out. School turned out fine. They had their first hour on the upstairs deck But it was cut short by a wasp that stung Nanaw. Chase tried to get it with a fly swatter but that didn't work. Nanaw got out the Raid, and Chase sprayed it and that took care of the wasp. For the second hour of school, Chase and Nanaw went down to the lower deck and sat on the swing. They did the division flashcards, long division problems with remainders, multiplication problems, reading comprehension, and a worksheet on relative pronouns. They didn't do Spanish today because Chase wants to do it tomorrow. He wants to do Spanish on Mondays and Fridays, just like he did in school. When school was over, Chase and Nanaw played with the Velcro catcher things in the driveway. Mama and Daddy picked Chase up at 4:30 for hockey practice.
