Chase did his 30 minutes of AR reading Tuesday morning in the Big Nate book. He now has 270 minutes toward the summer reading program. When he gets to 500 minutes, he gets a free book. When he gets to the end, which is 1,000 minutes, he'll get another book and other prizes. He spent the rest of his Robux money and was excited about the things he bought and the game he was playing. He threw up a little bit in the morning but then was all right. Mama thinks maybe last night's heat at his baseball game upset his stomach. School was good. They did state capitals, division flashcards, long division problems, multiplication problems, reading comprehension about Friendship Day, questions about pyramids and other shapes, prepositional phrases, and Spanish. After school was finished, Chase did some activities on ABCYA. Mama picked Chase and Nanaw up a little after four to go to the library. Unfortunately, the library was closed because the air conditioning wasn't working. They then went to the Lemay Ferry Dollar Tree. Nanaw wanted to buy some workbooks for Chase to study but they didn't have any books past second grade. Mama and Chase picked out lots of snacks to buy, and Nanaw bought Chase some toys -- it was a fun shopping trip.
