Chase had quite an exciting adventure on Wednesday. He went swimming with his friend Brady, Brady's sister Emma, Brady's grandma and Nanaw. They went to the swimming place in Columbia where Brady's family has a membership. Chase has been there before; one of his school classes had an end-of-the-year swimming party there. The weather was cloudy and cool, and the pool was cold, but the kids had a good time swimming. Nanaw had Chase test out all the swimming strokes he knows. They only stayed a little over an hour because it was chilly outside. After the swimming adventure, they had another adventure: They went to McDonald's for lunch and ate inside. It was the first time Chase and Nanaw had been able to eat inside McDonald's in over two years. Chase had a plain cheeseburger and fries. Nanaw had chicken McNuggets. When they got home, Chase didn't much want to do school so they did fun school things. Chase played his clarinet and the piano. Then they played math bingo on the computer. Chase checked out lots of different games on the ABCYA site. He did his 30 minutes of AR reading in Where Is Stonehenge?
