On Saturday morning, Chase got up at about 7:30 a.m.; Nanaw got up at 7. Chase got dressed in his soccer uniform for his soccer game. Daddy picked Chase up at 8:30 a.m. to take him to his game. Nanaw picked all the guys and packed them up for Chase. Then she put away all the restaurant things. Chase, Mama and Daddy went to Songs for Soldiers again. Then at five, Daddy and Chase went to his hockey practice. Mama stayed at Songs for Soldiers. Nanaw went out to the little house. On the way there, she stopped at Walmart, and one of the things she bought for Chase was a big Wiffle bat and ball, which Chase and Nanaw called a big chunga bat. In the evening, there was a huge thunderstorm and downpour. Nanaw was afraid the power would go off, so she brought in her emergency light and power things. But the power didn't go out so that was good. Mama sent Nanaw some messages from Chase's cross-country coach saying how proud he is of the team and their excellent performance.
