When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he said he had lots of homework, and that turned out to be very true. Before going home, they stopped at Schnuck's to get some mixed nuts and cashews for Uncle Mike's visit. Nanaw told Chase she would buy him some candy. Chase said he would also look for something interesting. Chase pushed the cart for Nanaw, which was very cute. They ended up spending $20 on Chase for candy and something interesting. He got some candy corn, fruit strips, pretzel strips, Junior Mints, and Fruit Gushers. When they got to Nanaw's house, first, Chase did his religion homework, all on his own. Next, he did his math homework, with a little help from Nanaw. It was about exponents/powers, a concept new to him but they worked it out. Next, Chase said it was time to study for Friday's history test. Nanaw was sitting on the sofa reading the newspaper, and Chase came over to sit beside her, bringing his history notes and some of his stuffed animals. He handed Nanaw the history study guide and asked her to ask him the questions. So she did. It was such a cute thing. They had a great time with the question and answer session. They're going to study again tomorrow after school. Next. Chase did his weekly writing. The topic he chose was to write in cursive ten things you would ask a robotic service to do for you if you had one. He ran out of time and didn't have time to do his AR reading or his science homework. He did his science homework at home after Nanaw dropped him off. Mama said he was doing his AR reading lying in bed with Mama, who was reading also.
