When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he asked if Will could come over to play, and Nanaw said yes. Chase invited Will but Will's grandpa said they'd have to check with Will's dad. Will didn't come over, and Chase was okay with that. Chase and Nanaw watched Curious George and Jeopardy. Mama came to pick Chase up at 5:15. She had gone to the parents' meeting about the camping trip for the fifth grade in October. It's a two-day adventure. With one overnight. Mama says they do all kinds of things: nature hikes, crafts, games, etc. According to the school, the goal "is to help our students build leadership skills, grow as a class, and ultimately find the beauty of God within themselves, within nature, and within classmates." Chase says he wants to go, which sort of surprised Mama but she's happy about it. Chase was supposed to have cross-country practice this evening but he and Daddy decided not to go.
