Chase and Daddy went to church on Sunday morning but Chase didn't ride in the front seat of Daddy's truck. Mama said Chase had hockey practice at 6:40 p.m. and that they had to leave at 5:50 p.m. Nanaw said she'd come back from the little house in time to come visit at around 4. Nanaw brought the Wiffle ball and bat. Chase and Nanaw went out in the backyard to play baseball. Nanaw pitched first, and then Chase pitched. Nanaw was excited to see that Mama had at least five pumpkins on her pumpkin vines. Maybe there will be a beautiful pumpkin for Halloween. After playing ball outside, Chase and Nanaw went inside to go downstairs and play hockey. Chase played goalie first, then decided to bring down some of his stuffed animals and have them be the hockey team. Mama called Chase upstairs for dinner. They were having lazy lasagna and chopped Caesar salad. Mama invited Nanaw to stay but Nanaw said she had pot roast at home. Mama sent some of the salad home with Nanaw.
