Happy New Year's Day! January 1, 2016

Chase had a major, major exciting adventure on New Year's Day. Mama, Daddy, Nanaw and Chase went to the Waterloo Cinema to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Nanaw drove separately in case Chase didn't do well at the theater so she could take him home. But all went spectacularly well. Chase watched the whole movie and seemed to really enjoy it. He was especially happy to see R2D2 and CP30. He also liked seeing BB8. Mama bought a humongous bucket of popcorn. Chase sat between Mama and Daddy and held the popcorn on his lap. He seemed to eat a lot of the popcorn. He also seemed to like the adventurous parts of the movie best. He would lean forward in his seat with a big grin on his face. Mama was concerned that all the violence would not be good for Chase but the only part that seemed to bother him was the big squiggly monsters. After the movie was over, they saw one of Chase's classmates in the lobby with his family -- other Chase, also known as Chase N. Chase S. did his shy act, hiding behind Mama, then popping out to see Chase N.
