Tuesday's adventure was a trip to Powder Valley -- it's been several weeks since Chase and Nanaw visited Powder Valley. Chase went to see the huge ceramic frog first but had trouble climbing the frog in the cold. He visited the two frogs in the small aquarium and then he and Nanaw went to sit by the fire. It was beautiful and very warm -- just perfect on a cold and windy day. There were several little boys and girls visiting Powder Valley and Chase talked to them and followed them around. Sometimes Nanaw feels like she's with a stalker in training. They visited the big aquarium and looked for their friend the turtle, but he was nowhere to be found. Chase and Nanaw played with the puppets for a long while, and Chase seemed to really enjoy that. He went to visit the bug display and did a good job of identifying the bugs in the display. When Chase and Nanaw got home, Chase decided to play with his Hot Wheel cars and race track in the shower. He found the part of the race track that Nanaw was afraid she'd gotten rid of -- he found it in one of his toy boxes and immediately attached it to the rest of the race track -- very smart little fellow.
