Chase was fine about going to school today, which made Nanaw happy. When Nanaw picked him up, he was talking about a helicopter but Nanaw couldn't figure out what he meant. He brought along his new Lightning McQueen car that changes colors when it's put in hot or cold water. It turns out that Wingo, one of the cars Nanaw bought at Walmart last week, is also one of the changeable cars. Nanaw had Chase sit in his high chair, and then she gave him a bowl of hot water and a bowl of ice water. He had a grand time putting Lightning and Wingo in and out of the water bowls. Nanaw had to keep refilling the bowls with the proper temperature water. Things got really wet but Chase had such a good time that Nanaw didn't care and just kept things wiped up. Chase had also brought along King, a car Daddy bought for him. Somehow, Wingo and King disappeared. Nanaw spent a long time looking everywhere for them but no luck. She'll continue to look -- if she can't find them, she'll just buy new ones.
