Chase's first adventure on Thursday was going to Story Time with Miss Candy. The little girl Sienna from his pre-school class was there but Poppy, the other little girl from his class, wasn't. Miss Candy sang songs about snow and talked about the snow that was forecast for Saturday. Then she read a book about polar bears. The craft for the day was an igloo with eyes peering out the opening -- Chase was very excited about it. After Story time, Chase and Nanaw went home to bake the cherry chip cake mix for Mama's birthday cake. Chase had some of the cherry chip icing and liked it a lot. In the evening, everyone (including Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky) went to Joe Boccardi's for Mama's birthday dinner. Chase had Dino nuggets and fries. Back at Nanaw's house, he helped Mama open her presents and blow out her candles. He seemed to like his cherry chip cake and his black cherry ice cream.
