Merry Christmas Week: Friday, December 21 to Thursday, December 27, 2018

On Friday, Chase's class had a Christmas party. Mama was off work again, and she and Nanaw picked Chase up from school. He brought home a picture of himself and Cam, his church buddy -- so cute. On Saturday, Chase went to AJ's birthday party at the bowling alley. Mama said Chase had a really good time. Mama fixed chili for dinner on Saturday night, then everybody rode around looking at Christmas lights in Columbia. Daddy drove so Mama could look at the lights. On Sunday, Mama baked lots and lots of cookies. She said Chase was her taster. The reindeer cookies were so cute. Chase played hockey in his Pittsburgh Penguins jersey and then played with his tablet, his favorite thing to do. Nanaw came to visit on Christmas Eve and brought along the slippers for Mama from Chase and the loofah toy for Sam so Chase could sign the gift cards. Chase went with Mama and Daddy to aunt Patty's for Christmas Eve. On Christmas morning Chase and Daddy went to church, and Daddy wore the Christmas tie Chase gave Daddy for Christmas. Chase, Mama and Daddy came over to Nanaw's house for a turkey Christmas dinner. Chase got a Hotwheels corkscrew from Nanaw, along with Minecraft Legos and ROBLOX figures, a weather lab, a Zero Santa hat, and a stuffed penguin. On Wednesday, Chase and Mama met Sean and his mom at SkyZone for the boys to play. Afterwards, they met Nanaw at the Telegraph Road library . They did the scavenger hunt, and Chase got a penguin sticker (see a trend here? With penguins?) On Thursday, Nanaw had to go to the dentist and couldn't pick Chase up from Mama until noon. Chase and Nanaw played with his ROBLOX figures and ROBLOX on the laptop. Chase had one of the pieces of bubble gum from the huge container of bubble gun Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky and the grandkids gave Nanaw for Christmas. Chase wanted Nanaw to play in the evening, and they both played on their computers -- it was really fun.
