Today is the twins' 27th birthday -- Chase's oldest cousins on Mama's side of the family. At the library yesterday, Chase checked out lots of books -- about Minecraft, tornadoes, hurricanes and other weather events. On Wednesday morning, he sat in his room reading the books; then on the ride to school, he took along the book on storms, along with Tee and the Hatchimals -- his new best friends. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road Library and played the Christmas scavenger hunt and got a snack for Chase out of the vending machine. When they got home, Chase and Nanaw played Dollar Tree in his room with his money and his toys -- it was great fun. Tomorrow they're going to play library. Around 5 p.m., Chase and Nanaw went to the Jeep dealer to pick up Mama -- she left her car there for an oil change. Mama is off work for a whole week, starting tomorrow. In the evening, Nanaw took a picture of Sidney Crosby the Cat lying on the floor in Chase's room. She sent it to Mama, saying she thought Sidney Crosby was missing Chase.
