Chase was a busy little fellow on Saturday, having lots of adventures. First, he had an 8 a.m. soccer game, an earlier time than usual. (He also has an early game on Sunday but Nanaw can't go to that one because she's going to church.) It was a good game, and the boys played their best. One of the coaches was giving Chase some direction, and after the game he told Mama, Daddy and Nanaw that he was supposed to keep his eye on the ball and chase after it. When they got back to Chase's house after the soccer game, Mama baked Christmas cookies, and Mama, Chase and Nanaw decorated them with icing and sprinkles. Then Chase played soccer and hockey outside with Daddy. In the afternoon, Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw went to Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky's annual Christmas party. Nanaw took along a lot of Hot Wheels cars, a lot of toy soldiers, a pack of Pokemon cards and Chase's bag of marbles. Chase and Nanaw played with those things for a long while. Then Chase played with Daddy's phone, then Nanaw's iPad. Everybody had a good time at the party, and the food was wonderful. Chase fell asleep on the way home, but first he kept an eye out for the penguin decoration he'd seen on the way to Uncle Mike's.
