Nanaw was excited to go volunteer in Chase's class on Thursday morning. It had been a month since she was last there. Three weeks ago was the snow day. Two weeks ago was Thanksgiving. And one week ago they had play practice. Nanaw took a picture of each group, as shown below. The first group was even rowdier than usual. Chase's group was better behaved than usual, and Nanaw told them they were better than the first group, which made them happy. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to the Train House again. And again, no visitors were there, just Miss Lynn. Nanaw and Chase thought it was wonderful having the place all to themselves. They did the scavenger hunt, and Chase did an excellent job with it. Chase and Nanaw really love the Train House -- it's one of their most favorite places. It's so sad without Miss Linda -- she was so much a part of the place. When Chase and Nanaw got home, they got out paper and crayons and scissors and glue stick and Christmas stickers and made books about Christmas in Sweden. They drew pictures of the Swedish flag on the covers of their books. It was a lot of fun, and Chase really liked it.
