Chase stayed with Nanaw for half the day -- Daddy had the day off and came to pick Chase up at noon. First thing, in the morning, Chase went to play in the bathtub (no water) with his bath toys. He seems to love playing in the tub, with or without water. After breakfast, Chase and Nanaw went to Schnucks to buy mini powdered sugar donuts -- Mama had asked Nanaw to get some for Chase at Walmart on Thursday but Nanaw forgot. Chase and Nanaw also went to Dollar Tree and bought two more packs of flash cards -- first words and colors and shapes. When they got home, Chase and Nanaw played with the flash cards, and they ended up spread out all over the living room. In the evening, Mama sent Nanaw a picture of Chase at dinner in a little restaurant in Columbia; he was playing Paw Patrol on his Leap Pad and seemed to be having fun. Nanaw called Mama, and Mama told her a story about Sam and Chase. Sam got shaved today and when Chase first saw him, he laughed and laughed. Mama suggested that Chase tell Sam he looked cute so that his feelings weren't hurt. Chase said "Cute Sam, cute Sam." Mama and Nanaw decided that Chase understands what we say a lot more than we think.
