Nanaw went to visit Chase on Saturday morning about 9. Mama's new couch was supposed to arrive between 8 and 11 but it hadn't come yet. Mama, Daddy and Chase were downstairs watching TV because there was no couch upstairs -- Uncle Stan came over last night and helped Daddy move it downstairs. Then Uncle Stan, Aunt Becca, Mama, Daddy and Chase went out to dinner at a restaurant in Columbia -- Mama e-mailed Nanaw a photo of Chase playing with forks. On Saturday morning when Nanaw went downstairs, she found Chase settled comfortably on the old couch, watching episodes of Paw Patrol that Mama had recorded for him. Mama, Daddy and Chase played with a Richard Scarry game, Busytown, that Nanaw had bought for Mama awhile ago but which had never been opened. Chase seemed delighted with the game but also had his own version of doing things. The couch arrived, and when the delivery men were finished, everybody admired the new couch and Nanaw took pictures. Nanaw left, and Chase and Daddy took Mama over to Aunt Becca's house, then they went out to Wentzville to visit Grandma Pat.
