Chase had three adventures on Thursday: Tot Time at the Columbia Library, Story Time at the Telegraph Road Library and a shopping trip to Walmart. The Tot Time story and craft were about a cow -- Chase was very excited to make the cow, especially gluing the "grass" on its chin. He was also excited about putting the cow up on the fridge. The trip to Miss Kim's Story Time at the Telegraph Road Library was Chase's first visit to one of the programs at the county library since last spring. He got too old for Laptime and he wasn't quiet enough for Story Time. But all went well at Story Time. He did some running around but so did the other children. He seemed to enjoy the story, the music and the dancing. He also enjoyed the crafts, which involved a children's safety scissors, a glue stick, colors and papers to color, cut and glue. Miss Kim said next Tuesday is painting with watercolors so Nanaw will probably take Chase there. Next Thursday is a gfairtale theme but Miss Kim says the boys can wear superhero outfits. Mama is going to see if she can borrow a cape or superhero outfit from Jackson. After Story Time, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart, where Nanaw bought him a tiny steamroller and three mini trains: Thomas, Victor and Emily.
