Chase's adventure for Sunday was going with Daddy out to Wentzville to visit Grandma Pat. Daddy said Chase played outside there for awhile, digging in the dirt. Chase also played with his regular toys that Grandma Pat keeps there for him. He played a game of pretending to be a baby by getting into and playing in the Pack n Play that belongs to his cousin Wesley, who Grandma Pat baby-sits during the week -- just like Nanaw baby-sits Chase. Nanaw came to Chase's house in the evening, to see Chase and to have dinner there. Daddy grilled delicious onion burgers, and Mama made Caesar salad. Daddy went to the Bass Pro shop Saturday afternoon, and he bought two big bags of kettle corn -- one for Mama and Chase and one for Nanaw -- yay! Nanaw brought Chase a present -- a Paw Patrol book featuring Chase the police dog -- it had lots of flaps to lift up and Chase liked that. He sat on Mama's lap outside while she read the book to him twice. Before and after dinner, everybody was outside playing bubbles with Chase, which seems to be his latest favorite thing to do. Mama bought him lots of new bubble wands and a small Thomas the Train that blows bubbles and toots at the same time -- very cute.
