Chase brought his new Rubble in the excavator with him this morning. Mama says he's been sleeping with it at night and during his naps. First thing in the morning, Chase played with the Play Dough and the cookie cutters. Chase's adventure for the day was going to the Movers and Shakers program at the Columbia Library. He did some running around the room with his friends Eli and Molly but mostly he followed along with the songs and the story books. Nanaw forgot to take pictures at Movers and Shakers but she took plenty at the playground next to the library. Usually after Movers and Shakers, Chase wants to go to the children's reading room at the library but today he was eager to get out to the playground. He saw Hailey, another friend of his from Babygarten, at the playground, and they played together for awhile. Chase seemed to have a great time on the playground and with the other children. Nanaw finally got him willing to leave by promising him chocolate milk back at Nanaw's house. In the afternoon, when Nanaw took Chase home, everyone went out to the back yard, Chase's favorite place in the world. Daddy had bought a new bird feeder and some bird seed, and Chase "helped" Daddy put it up. Mama had bought some new sidewalk chalk for Chase, and he insisted that Mama and Daddy open all the packages so he could color his car again.
