Chase’s first adventure on Thursday was playing again with his fishies and Gracie the yellow duckie in the water. Next, Chase and Nanaw went to the Train House. Chase seemed to have his usual wonderful time playing on the train tables, playing with the wall puzzles, on the school bus, in the kitchen, with the mega blocks and with the wooden blocks. Miss Linda showed them a wonderful book titled Me with You about two bears who love each other. Nanaw liked it so much she used her iPod to buy it from Amazon, amazing Miss Linda. Miss Linda also told Nanaw about a new place to take Chase: the Eugene Field Antique Toy Museum. Miss Linda was the one that told them about Powder Valley, now one of Chase’s favorite places. When they left the Creation Station, Chase and Nanaw explored the changes they’ve made at the Train House. The toy store is now a café, with a train table that kids can play with. They put the toy store in the room where the circus train used to be. There’s also an old St. Louis Public Library Bookmobile in the lobby area where they’re going to house a used book store – so exciting. After the Train Store, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart and then home. At home, they played downstairs and then Chase took a nice long nap.
