The weather was cold and rainy today so Chase and Nanaw stayed home where it was warm and dry. When he came to Nanaw's house in the morning, Chase brought along his hungry caterpillar and told Nanaw he had to have a name. Chase decided the caterpillar's name would be "Ruke" -- Chase's way of saying Luke -- so Ruke it is. On Sunday, Chase gave the same name to his big dinosaur -- now there are two Rukes. He wore his Thomas pajamas to Nanaw's -- they're her favorite. Mama sent along his new Thomas socks for him to wear today -- very cute. Chase and Nanaw spent the morning downstairs playing with Chase's toys. Nanaw set up his army guys on a table so he could more easily play with them. He also played with the dollhouse and with his trains. For whatever reason, he took apart the track of the big train set on the floor. Now Nanaw has to see if she can figure out how to put it back together -- or ask Chase's Daddy if he can figure it out. Chase wasn't too happy about taking a nap in the afternoon so he threw the Berenstain bears out of his bed. When Chase got home, there was a present for Mama waiting for him on the kitchen table (Mama wasn't there -- she went out to dinner with her friend Kannon and his eight-month-old son Cooper and Cathy, another friend of theirs.) The present was a stuffed Chase, the police puppy from Paw Patrol, and Chase was delighted with it.
