Nanaw went to visit Chase Saturday morning and to hear about his visit with Jackson Friday night. Mama said the boys had a great time playing together with two little girls who were there also. They played in Jackson's room, doing a lot of jumping on Jackson's bed. Plus they ate lots of pizza and birthday cake. Chase even had a piece of cheesecake -- yum! At Chase's house Saturday, Chase was playing the Richard Scarry game with Mama and Daddy, and he invited Nanaw to play too. But Chase quickly abandoned the game and started playing with his cars and trucks. Then he got out his drum, the recorder and the maracas, and he and Nanaw played band, marching up and down the hall. Next, they played hide and seek in Chase's closet with his pretend flashlight -- a blue plastic cup that lights up. When Nanaw left, Mama, Daddy and Chase went on a shopping adventure to Sam's, to look for a new television, and they promised to buy a toy for Chase.
