Sunday evening, Nanaw went over to Chase's house for a delicious pot roast dinner. When Nanaw got there, Chase was in the back yard with Daddy, playing with his shark sidewalk chalk. He was drawing on his red and yellow car and shoveling dirt in the gas tank, saying that it was coal. He decided he wanted Daddy to carry Chase's tool box to the back of the shed where the wheelbarrow was. Nanaw went along and watched Chase "work" on the wheelbarrow with his tools. It was very cute. He's learned how to use a pretend wrench, and he was also using his "measuring tape." He put on his glassless safety goggles and looked very official -- it was quite the fun activity. Mama had bought a loaf of green snake bread to go with the pot roast, and Chase was excited about eating the "snake bread." Mama also bought gluten free rolls for Nanaw -- they were very good. After dinner, everyone went outside again. Chase got out some of his bubble wands and was blowing bubbles around the yard. Mama and Daddy decided to buy a bar to put downstairs, and Nanaw told them Chase would be excited to use his tools to help Daddy put it together.
