Chase had one major adventure and a couple of little adventures on Friday. First thing, Chase and Nanaw dropped TJ at the vet. Chase visited the fishies there and got a sucker. Then Chase and Nanaw went out to Chesterfield to deliver a projector to someone in a group Nanaw belongs to. Chase was cute at the lady’s house, hanging on to Nanaw’s hand and winding himself around and around Nanaw. Next, Chase and Nanaw went to Pulaski Bank and the nice lady there gave Chase a chocolate chip cookie. Nanaw drove around in Faust Park but decided that because it was raining, they wouldn’t visit anything in the park. Chase’s next adventure came at dinner time when Mama and Daddy came to Nanaw’s house with McDonald’s. Chase had fry-fries and chicken McNuggets. Then came the major adventure. Mama, Daddy, Chase and Nanaw met Aunt Jen, Uncle Joe, and Jackson at Grant’s Farm for a Halloween spectacular, even though it was raining. There were lots of scary Halloween displays and lights – very spooky and lots of fun. Chase rode on the carousel, fed the goats and ate kettle corn. He visited the vampire and was fearless when the vampire man tried to scare him. Mama bought him a skull light saber / sword, and that was the highlight of his evening. Jackson got one too and the boys had a grand time poking people and things with their swords. All in all, it was a wonderfully successful evening despite the rain. Mama says they can go again next year.
