Nanaw visited Chase early Saturday morning. They played trains and Nanaw set up the train track on the end table. Mama baked a carrot cake for Aunt Jen’s birthday, and Daddy and Chase licked the bowl. Chase and Nanaw played with Chase’s Scout books and then went downstairs to play with the train and watch Daddy vacuum. Chase went into the purple room and started pulling down all the toys Mama had stacked to one side, in preparation for today’s party and Auntie LaLa and Uncle Chris’s sleepover (Will and Phoebe too). Mama and Daddy had a party for them and for Aunt Jen, Uncle Joe, Jackson, Uncle Mike, Aunt Becky, Aunt Becca, and Uncle Stan, out at the WE bar with the new heater and the firepit because it was very cold outside. Uncle Mike called Nanaw and said they were all having a good time except that Chase fell down the steps to the basement so Daddy covered them up again.
