Chase’s adventure today was going to his favorite place in the world: the Train House. There were only five other boys and girls there so all of them had lots of room and trains. Chase played for a long while with the trains on the train tables, then played with the puzzles, played in the kitchen, went on the slide, mopped and swept, and then came to sing on the blanket with the adults and two other children. He spent a long while running around the circus train room, then he and Nanaw rode on the red train. The conductor let Chase say, "All Aboard" into the microphone, and Chase seemed really happy about that. They went to the little gift shop up on the hill, and Nanaw bought a Bertie Bus for Chase, who seemed very excited about getting a Bertie. They went to explore the boat and then up into the train yard to go through the trains. Chase called one of the big black engines "Hiro" after one of Thomas’ friends – and then Nanaw and Chase went inside "Hiro" to explore it. On the way out, Chase watched the circus train again and then got on the caboose. All in all, another successfully enjoyable day at the Train House for Chase and Nanaw. On the way home, Chase started saying "One day" and then said things that sounded like he was telling a story. It will be interesting to see if that’s what he was really doing.
