Nanaw went over to Chase’s house Sunday evening for Mama’s experimental dinner of Salisbury steak. It was yummy but still Chase didn’t eat any. One of these days, Chase will start eating Mama’s "dee-wishes" dinners. Nanaw was interested in finding out Chase’s reaction to the eagle and the wooden trucks Mama and Daddy bought at the silent auction last night. Chase named the eagle "8" and has taken ownership of him. 8 is now part of the stuffed animals in the corner of Chase’s room where Chase plays "pile." After dinner, Nanaw needed to use Mama’s computer, so Chase, Mama and Nanaw went downstairs. Chase made Mama get in his "tunnel" (really his Mickey Mouse playhouse), and then Mama got stuck and couldn’t get out without Nanaw’s help. Nanaw mentioned to Daddy and Mama that Chase seems to be talking more the past few days and his words seem more understandable.
