On Thursday, Nanaw had her car back, so she and Chase went lots of places to make up for lost time. First, they went grocery shopping at Walmart. Chase wanted to see the Christmas trees so they went there first. Horsey was still broken so Chase only rode on Elmo. He had to have "bones" from the candy machine; he also wanted "fish" from the machine by Elmo but Nanaw told him he’d already had enough candy. Next they went to the Columbia Library for Tot Time. Chase did a good job of singing the songs and listening to the story. The craft was a pumpkin, and his favorite part is using the glue stick. Nanaw may have to buy a glue stick for him. After Tot Time, they went to the playground next to the library. There were lots of children there from Tot Time, and Chase had a grand time playing with them. Chase and Nanaw had a picnic on one of the picnic benches then went to the Telegraph Road library, where Nanaw picked up books, and they played with the puzzles. Next, they went to Powder Valley and went for a walk on the 2/3 mile trail; Chase wanted to go on the reverse way of the trail so they did that. He seemed to have a really good time inside the Nature Center looking at all the displays. In his nap prayer, in addition to the "scary snake" he wanted to say "God bless the bear" from the Nature Center – he’s such a cutie.
