Today, Chase and Nanaw stayed at home all day because Nanaw’s car was at Firestone getting fixed. She should have it back tomorrow afternoon so that means another day at home without going anywhere, very unusual for Chase and Nanaw and all their adventures. In the morning, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs to play trains. Chase also played with his groceries, moving them from the grocery cart and box to the Thomas house. Then he tried to put the big plastic box inside the Thomas house, and it was cute to watch him pushing and shoving and finally succeeding. Later Chase and Nanaw went out on the upper back deck, and Chase played with his big red ball while Nanaw swept leaves off the deck. Chase also colored and played with the sticker book. He found a sticker of a scary snake and put it on one of the pictures – he later took it home with him. Before his nap, when Nanaw was saying his night-night prayer, he interrupted and said "scary snake" so Nanaw added "God bless the scary snake" to the ever-growing list of "God blesses." Just before Mama came to pick up Chase, Chase and Nanaw went out on the front porch for Nanaw to sweep leaves off the porch and Chase to play with the collection of rocks there.
