Once again, Chase and Nanaw spent the day at home because Nanaw’s car was still at Firestone. First, they went downstairs and played trains. Once again, Chase decided to put his groceries and toys in the Thomas house. This time, he turned the house on its side and was easily able to get things inside through the bottom – very innovative little fellow. Next, Chase and Nanaw went out on the lower deck to sweep off leaves. Chase had his wagon, a bucket, and a brush, and he put leaves in his bucket. Next, they went upstairs to the front porch, and Nanaw found Chase’s little broom and mop and he used those on the porch and the leaves. Chase seemed to have a really good time, and of course, didn’t want to come into the house for lunch. After lunch, Chase and Nanaw went outside to get the mail, and then played trains in Chase’s room. When it was nap time and prayer time, Chase once again wanted to say "God bless the scary snake" so Nanaw thinks that will probably become a permanent part of his naptime prayer.
