Mama and Daddy had the day off to celebrate Uncle Joe's 20th anniversary at Wells so they took Chase to school and Nanaw slept in. Mama sent Nanaw a picture of Chase in his school uniform -- so cute. When Nanaw went to pick Chase up at school, she sat on the bench right next to the door to wait for him. Now Chase says I have to sit there all the time to pick him. Nanaw figures that's because he wants to know where to expect her and to not have to look around for her -- very cute. We saw Brady's grandma and his sister Emma at school and his Grandma said they were going to the little library park after Brady changed clothes. So Nanaw said they would come too. First, they went to Chase's house for him to change clothes and to pick up Tee Tee and his other stuffed "amamals." When they got to the park, Brady wasn't there. Chase played on the slides and the climbing bars for awhile, but then decided he wanted to go back to Nanaw's house because there were no children for him to play with. Just as they were in the car getting ready to leave, Brady came running over to the car and gave Nanaw a hug. So Chase got out of the park and played with Brady and Emma for a long time. At the park, Chase found one of the painted rocks that people are leaving around the region. Chase said he would give it to his Mama. Back at Nanaw's house, Chase had Nanaw bring up the Lincoln Logs for him to play with. For the first time ever, he built a house. Nanaw doesn't know where he learned how to do that -- maybe at school last year. Mama and Daddy picked Chase up at about six, and he had Daddy play baseball with him for awhile.
