Chase and Nanaw spent most of Tuesday at home, playing lots of different things. They played with Chase's Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage for awhile, one of Chase's favorite things to do. They also played with the slime / goo. Nanaw had Chase write his name, something she tries to do most days, so that he gets better at writing his name before kindergarten starts. Chase also played McDonald's with Nanaw. He took her order and then delivered her food -- it was very cute. Later, he decided to make hot dogs out of Silly Putty, and he delivered those to Nanaw. Later in the day, Chase and Nanaw went to the Columbia Library so Nanaw could straighten out the problem with her library card. Chase had Nanaw check out a book for him -- one that he already has at home -- "Pete the Cat -- I Love My White Shoes." Next, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road library to pick up books for Mama. Chase played in the children's play room but wasn't happy because some of the boys and girls had moved all the trains and train track from the train table to the big open seating area. He said to Nanaw, "Let's go home," so they did. Mama and Daddy picked Chase up from Nanaw's house at 5 p.m. for an evening of adventure. First, they were going to Cane's for dinner, then to the Magic House with the tickets Chase earned for the library reading program.
