Nanaw went to visit Chase first thing on Saturday morning. Chase wanted to play a game called Mashin Max that Auntie LaLa bought for him at TJMaxx. Mama told Nanaw to read the directions, which Nanaw did – she always obeys her baby girl. But Chase decided he wanted to play by his own rules. Mama says that’s what Chase always wants to do. So they played by Chase’s rules. Chase’s rules involved Max doing a lot of mashing and Chase doing a lot of yelling. Chase had a lot of fun, and Nanaw had fun watching him. When Mama went to the grocery store, Chase and Nanaw put the Mashin Max away and went to play in the living room. They played with Chase’s cash register, then Chase got the idea that they would go in his room to get paper and crayons to make McDonald's menus. They did that and Chase had Daddy make a menu for "my Nanaw" – Nanaw like hearing Chase say that. Daddy brought the Happy Meal box filled with McDonald’s toys into Chase’s room a couple of times, and Chase got a big kick out of that. In the afternoon, Mama and Chase took Dolly back home to Jackson’s house. Chase and Jackson went swimming in the community pool but Mama said it was too cold for her to get in the pool.
