Tuesday was the first day that Chase wore one of his white uniform shirts, and he looked so cool and grown-up. Unfortunately, Nanaw forgot to take a picture of him in the shirt in the morning. But she did get a picture in the afternoon -- however, he was sitting in basket of amamals so he didn't look quite as grown-up. Nanaw enjoyed taking him to school and accompanying him to his assigned seat at the table. Nanaw likes the idea of Chase having an assigned place to go each day. In Pre-K, the boys and girls were always sitting in different places. Nanaw thinks that the boys and girls having an assigned seat is good for them and helps them to feel comfortable in the classroom. Chase still didn't bring home any homework. He brought home a paper he worked on today about the letter A. When Nanaw and Chase got home from school, they played with his slime, Zoo rocks and marbles on the kitchen counter. Then they went outside to play baseball. Nanaw is very impressed with what a good hitter Chase is becoming. When Nanaw took Chase home, she learned that Chase knows how to do rock, paper, scissors, which she didn't know and was very excited about. Daddy warned her that sometimes or most times, Chase waits to see what his opponent has thrown and then throws whatever will win. What a tricky little fellow he is!
