Saturday was an exciting day for Chase. It was his first day of soccer practice. First, they took individual pictures of the soccer players, and then they took the team photo. Chase and the other kindergartners wore their first day of school tee shirts instead of uniforms -- that's what they'll wear during the season. Chase wore his soccer socks, soccer shoes and shin guards. He brought along his new soccer ball. He's very much the sports enthusiast. Thirty-two of the 44 kindergartners were there to play soccer. The coaches divided the boys and girls into small groups for practice and pretend games. Chase mostly had a good time although a couple of times during the pretend game, he reacted to the other team getting a goal. Daddy talked to him and convinced him to go back on the field. All in all, it was a good first day, and it looks like Chase is going to enjoy soccer. In the afternoon, Mama, Daddy and Chase went to Uncle Mike's house to go swimming. Chase, of course, did not want to get out of the pool.
